Masks for Thee, but not for the ‘Elite’

Over the last few decades, we have seen more and more politicians and elite break rules and laws with no consequences. They may get a few bad days of press or may even go on trial, but at the end, they are free to walk away… to carry on with their lives from before their crimes were exposed.

In recent years, the crimes have become ever more egregious and overt. If caught, they simply say “I don’t know” or “I don’t remember”, then go on their merry way. They have absolutely no fear of consequences… and sadly, that is true. They face no consequences.

Beyond the Russian hoax, the fake Ukraine impeachment and endless allegations that never come true, we are now facing the repercussions of Covid-19, a pandemic. Originally, ‘pandemic’ was defined as a worldwide illness with an extremely high death rate. A few years ago, the official definition was changed to just a worldwide illness. I wonder why the ‘extremely high death rate’ was removed from the definition.

The inconsistent rules for Covid-19 have become more and more overt. People living in Democrat and RINO (Republicans in Name Only) controlled states have been and still are living in tyranny.

– small businesses closed: restaurants, bars, nail and hair salons, gyms, specialty stores…
– schools closed, students forced into online, inept education

Millions have lost their jobs. Even with federal aid, too many of the people in these states were never able to get their unemployment checks.

Millions have lost their businesses. Even with federal aid, the endless lock downs enforced by the Democrat and RINO governors and mayors have ensured those businesses will never reopen – leaving millions more unemployed, worried about losing their homes and putting food on the table.

Schools in these Democrat and RINO cities and states are shutdown – forcing online learning at home… IF kids have a computer or internet access, IF there are enough computers to go around for all the kids.

And yet the elite have been pretty much untouched by all of this. They stay in their fancy city homes or go to their country homes. They continue working… from their homes. Their children still go to school or have private tutors.

– Sports players are still playing.
– T.V. shows are making new episodes
– Big box stores have been open all along: Wal-Mart, Kroger, Safeway, Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.
– Amazon and other delivery businesses are doing very well

– Liquor stores never closed
– Pot stores never closed
– Gas stations never closed
– Casinos and gaming houses are open and flourishing
– Abortion clinics never closed

If Covid-19 was equal to the Black Plague, the sheer fact that millions and millions of people interact in these venues everyday, would mean people would be dropping like flies and our death numbers would be 10x higher or even more.

Most of these people are not spring chickens. In fact, they are in the age range of the highest death rates. So why are all these politicians doing the exact opposite of what they order the people to do?

Perhaps because they have quick and easy access to hydroxychloroquine and they know this virus is no more dangerous than the annual flu?

So why aren’t more people questioning this double-standard?
