What the Constitution Really Means…

Sadly, history and civics classes have largely disappeared from schools, leaving Americans clueless about the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Amendments designed to protect the American people. This allows unethical people to abuse their positions of power to push their own agendas, doing immeasurable harm to the country and American citizens.

Congressional Term Limits

Ideas on the surface often sound great, but it is essential to think through all the possible long term consequences. It may not actually solve problems, but result in creating more in the long run.

The 14th Amendment Does NOT Give Citizenship to the Children of Foreigners Born in the U.S.

The writers of the 14th Amendment were quite clear on just who the Amendment applied to… not only in the language of the Amendment, but in the speeches they gave on the Senate floor. It definitely does not apply to children of any foreigners.

Why is Evidence Censored? The Antrim, Michigan Voting Machine Forensic Report

Free speech is a very basic and essential right of the American citizen. Free speech leads to more knowledge, allowing people to make informed decisions at election time. However, when free speech, in this case evidence, is withheld, Americans cannot make informed decisions.

Just How Flexible is the Constitution?

The meaning of language, words change over time in how society understands them. As the decades and centuries pass, those changes increase. Reading something written 249 years ago could mean something very different to the person reading it today. So it goes for the Constitution. However, the Constitution is a contract written by the original 13 colonies to create the federal government to conduct specific and limited actions. Contracts can never change their meaning, or they are useless and will not protect those who signed the contracts or those who followed.

Amendments, ratified by 3/4ths of the States is the only method of changing the Constitution. As in the Constitution, understanding the language of those Amendments is essential to ensure they used as the writers intended.

Contest the Election – Denounce Voter Fraud

Too many politicians don’t like comments from their constituents on social media, such as Facebook. Even more, politicians don’t like their constituents using pictures to make a point, especially since pictures can have a bigger impact. To that end, I used a blog post link as my comment to one of my Senators. When the link expands out, the picture is displayed on his page. I really hate it when politicians control what I can say to them publicly.

Dividing the Nation

There is great truth in the old saying, “Together we stand, divided we fall.” When politicians do things Americans don’t like, the more people who speak out, the more likely the politicians are to reverse course. Sadly, too many politicians put their own desire for power before the people they are elected to represent. It is easiest to gain that power when they can divide the country. Reducing the number of people speaking out, and increasing the number supporting them with propaganda, makes that process easier.
