DOGE Details

Americans have been convinced for decades politicians and bureaucrats have been stealing their hard-earned tax money to push their own agendas and benefit themselves. However, trying to get the evidence has been all but impossible. Politicians declare the tax dollars are being wisely spent to benefit all Americans. Of course, the unelected bureaucrats never say a word, simply refusing to provide information to politicians actually trying to get to the truth.

In walks Donald J. Trump and Elon Musk. Trump campaigned endlessly on rooting out fraud, waste and abuse. He declared repeatedly that Elon Musk would be helping him. Knowing that, the American people overwhelming elected Trump… winning the electoral college, winning the popular vote, winning the seven swing states easily.

Now that Trump and Musk are keeping their promises, Democrats are doing everything possible to shutdown the agency audits and stop the evidence from going public… which I find very strange… and interesting. Using the website usaspending.gov, I can retrieve the actual records, how much was spent, how long the spending has been going on, and most importantly, who was given the money and by what agencies.

The Constitution lays out the specific and only duties of the federal government in Article 1 Section 8. In reality, that list of duties is not very long, and does not include 99% of which the federal government has now taken control. Nowhere in that list does the federal government have the authority to give money to private companies or organizations. Nor should the federal government be funding private companies or organizations. If they cannot succeed through hard work and smart business decisions, then they should not exist. It is not up to the American people to bail them out. No company is too big to fail. When companies fail via their own poor actions, something better always comes along to fill the void.

Gathering the data is not difficult… displaying it in a readable format is… I can import the spreadsheet into WordPress, but it is so tiny, it is impossible to read. After countless and unsuccessful days of working with WordPress Support, the only workaround I found, was to make a picture of each screenful of records, then display those in a Gallery feature. This makes it very easy to read the information, but it is time consuming to put together.

As time allows, I will be adding more information so that Americans can see where their hard-earned tax money has been going, and scream at Democrats who declared it was necessary to raise taxes. “Pay their fair share” campaign attacks by politicians on the ultra-rich has now become “Stop stealing our money” from the American people.
